We offer for your consideration a 1950s Coca Cola Santa made by The Rushton Company in Atlanta, GA. This great Santa measures about 17". He has a cloth body with rubber hands and a rubber "mask" face. The face is deeply sculpted with a lot of detail. His face is hand painted and has gorgeous vintage color. The cheeks are rosy, his open mouth and tongue are bright red, and the eyelids and the space underneath the heavy eyebrows are shaded with a soft blue. The eyes are dark grey with white highlights. He wears a one-piece red suit with white faux fur trim, a black belt with attached fur trimmed red skirt, and a red fur trimmed collar. There is a slit in the belt to the left of the buckle. It seems to be holding but it may need to be reinforced. There is also a small split in the seam of the right arm just above the fur trim (see pictures). Santa also wears hand stitched black boots ( an indication of the early made Santa by Rushton). He is tagged on his left leg. In his right hand is his own personal Coca Cola. This vintage Santa is loaded with character and would be a nice addition to your holiday tradition. Please look at the pictures for more information and feel free to ask questions.
