VINTAGE 1950’s 13” TINY TEARS DOLL AMERICAN CHARACTER CARACULWIGThis vintage doll is marked with a faded E Character on the back of her neck. She was made from 1950 – 1955. She is a Tiny Tears drink, wet and cry doll. She has a hard plastic head with a caracul curly hair wig and a rubber body. Her wig is a little loose around the edges. She has sleep eyes and good face paint. She has some indentions – more like tiny nicks on her legs. She has a light gray mark on her forehead and red fingernail and toenail polish. One of her thumbs has been glued on. She is wearing on original cotton romper or sun-suit that is trimmed in pink and has buttons on the shoulders. It has a pink ribbon tie. It does not have the name Tiny Tears on the front. It is not tagged. She is also wearing a diaper which may be original. It has yellowed and is a little dingy. Her shoes are not original. Overall, she is in good condition for her age. She would be a great addition to your doll collection. She comes from a smoke free and pet free home. !
