VINTAGE 1955 BUBBLE SUN CREST SODA LIGHTED CLOCK ~ WORKS

Fabulous Vintage Lighted Bubble Sun Crest Soda Wall Clock.The Glass Bubble is in Mint Condition. The inside glass is opaque white with dark blue Arabic Numerals and has a green center with and is signed between the 5 and 7 below the base of the bottle "Sun Crest - I Telechron Inc., Ashland Mass., U.S.A. C.A.P.". This one has the Bubble (curved) Glass and is fully functioning This clock is in cherry condition with no chips or cracks. A great Clock perfect for the Clock Collector or any Retro Decorator. All original parts except for the light bulbs icluding electrical cord. Keeps perfect time and uses 15 watt bulbs.

The Sun Crest brand of soft drinks was introduced by the National NuGrape Company of Atlanta, Georgia in 1938 as a flavor line, and sister brand to NuGrape, 2-Way, and Kickapoo Joy Juice.Sun Crest was acquired along with NuGrape in 1968 by The Moxie Company (renamed Moxie-Monarch-NuGrape Company and later Monarch Beverage Company ). Hedinger Brands, LLC. purchased the Sun Crest brand in 2007 along with the Dad's Root Beer , Bubble Up and Dr. Wells brands.

The History of Sun Crest

In 1938, Sun Crest began as a sister product to NuGrape. The National NuGrape Company of Atlanta, Georgia was the original owner of the Sun Crest lines. SunCrest, NuGrape and Kickapoo Joy Juice were proudly referred to by the NuGrape Co. as “The Crown Jewels — American’s Royal Family of Flavors”. In 1982, The Monarch Company of Atlanta purchased the Sun Crest flavor line. In 2007, Sun Crest was purchased by Hedinger Brands, LLC and licensed to The Dad’s Root Beer Company, LLC. The company headquarters is now located in Jasper, Indiana.
