For your consideration: A post-war 1956 Tuscan Red Lionel 2360 Locomotive!!! Lionel made this particular model from 1956-1958. It has a single gold stripe down both sides! During photographing I noticed one of the end keystone decals has some damage, but the other side is in perfect condition! This engine came from my dad's collection. I had it tested this week! First time since 1960. It was stored in a back bedroom closet on the first floor of his house. During the testing, all lights lit-up and it moved slowly on the track! We didn't push it, but feel a little grease and oil would do the trick! The Hobby Shop owner who tested for me says he would consider the locomotive in EXCELLENT condition! Hard to find these old work horses in this condition! Paint looks absolutely fabulous! Check out the photos and feel free to e-mail me with any questions!!! Be the bidder! Thanks for looking! :)~ The lettering "Pennsylvania & 2360" on the sides of the locomotive are decals! Yes, I just learned there is a "D" battery comparment inside, but no battery was stored on this engine! No corrosion either! I don't think we ever had one in there!!! Thanks for the info!!!
