THIS IS SO COOL! Offered today for your consideration is an amazing vintage RCA television from the 1950s. This great TV features a blonde metal cabinet with a blonde wood base. The TV part swivels on the base so that it can be pointed to various parts of the room for the viewers' convenience. It has an almost hidden compartment in the top of the set that flips open to reveal the controls for the TV. The outer part of the screen is square, but the picture tube is rounded on the corners giving it an oval shape. The back sports an early jack that was designed to allow the owner to plug his Victrola into the TV and listen to music through the speakers. It also has an "internal atennea" that connects by an antennea cord to the rabbit ears. (I don't have the rabbit ears.) This was obviously a very "up-town" model! This TV is the 1956, 21", swivel consolette, wood (limed oak), Pickwick model, that originally sold for $249.95. That was a fortune in the 1950s! (Many thanks to the very kind eBayer who wrote to me with the model info - you're awesome!) This TV measures 35" tall by 22" wide by 19" deep. This item is in NEAR PERFECT condition! It has a few very faint little scratches, and t is a small spot on the top w it looks like someone set something hot and singed it VERY slightly. Otherwise, its clean and I can't find a thing wrong with read more
