Submitted for your consideration is a vintage 1957 Les Paul Junior. This is an amazing guitar, although it's early childhood was not without challenges. For whatever reason the original owner made the decision to replace the original finish with a "natural" one and to remove (and lose) the pick-guard (darn you original owner!). When I bought the guitar in 1979 it was outfitted with '70's era tuners, which I replaced recently with an excellent set of Grovers. The nut is also new. The bridge and electronics are original. I won't attempt to catalogue every scratch and dent -- by now it's obvious we're not talking mint condition! But it was recently set up by the amazing Ron Cook in Baltimore and it plays beautifully and sounds amazing! Also included is a 1970's case that is in great shape. Hate to part with her but my oldest has started looking at colleges! One more tidbit for you rock 'n roll trivia buffs: I used this guitar with semi-famous '80's band "Bootcamp", one of just a handful of bands featured on MTV the first day they were on the air.
