For sale is an excellent 1957 14' aluminum Starcraft Sea Farer boat. Serial no. 57-7556; model no. 14 Sea Farer. It is a wonderful vintage boat that is a practical boat to use... deep V. The beam is wide...62" and the transom is 18 1/2" tall with a 15" notch for a short shaft motor. The boat had many, many coats of paint inside and out...everyw!! This made for difficult and time consuming removal but probably protected it as well. The surfaces that should have been painted have now been repainted. The hull is free of dents. The transom wood is original and is perfect. The electrical fixtures need to be rewired. The Starcraft badges are in good shape. Last inspected in 1963; in storage for decades. Taylor Made windshield has the original button and is clear and free of cracks. The rubber gasket is flexible and gives a very good seal. T he steering wheel is in excellent condition. The controls are Johnson. The running lights, horn and spotlight are in good shape with minor pitting. I have cleats and a few other goodies if you want them. I was undecided about putting the deck pieces and the windshield back on...I normally leave them off for a racier look. The new owner can easily remove and refurbish the deck if he wants to. The trailer is an early sixties Tee Nee. The tires and hubs are good. The tie down strap and bunks are original and in great shape. This trailer was stored in a barn for the last 30 years and while it shows surface rust now it is solid and in excellent shape. It takes a 1 7/8" ball. I also have a rare 12' aluminum Meyers runabout listed in another Ebay ad. This must be paid for in 7 days and picked up in Central VA within 2 weeks of the sale. T is no title...both boat and trailer will be transferred with Bill of Sale. NO RESERVE. Email if you have questions.
