Edsel-bilia! This is an authentic promo car from an actual dealership. It is not a replica or toy. Promotional plastic model cars were given to dealerships to promote sales. All one had to do is test drive an Edsel to receive this model car. This particular one is a 1958 Ford Edsel Pacer, 2-Door Hardtop, Turquoise (Aqua) color. 1958 is the first year Ford made the Edsel and they manufactured them for three years only - 1958, 1959 and 1960. It is in good working order. The original box and certificate of authenticity are missing. Edsel promo model cars were made by Aluminum Model Toys Inc., Birmingham, MI. 1/25 scale. From an estate. Stored in a smoke-free, pet-free environment.
