This auction is for one vintage 1959 Ludwig "Buddy Rich Super Classic" 5.5X14 snare drum. This drum sounds great! It has an 14" head size and is 5.5" deep. Cosmetically, the original White Marine Pearl finish has yellowed with age, but still looks great (see pictures). The chrome has scratches and pitting from age, but still shines nicely. Both top and bottom bearing edges are good (see pictures). Everything except for the heads appears to be original to the drum. This is a rare transition Ludwig badge drum. There is a red ink date stamp on the inside of the shell that reads "APR 27 1959". Please email me with any questions.
