Please read the entire description before you buy! Up for sale is a very nice example of a 1959 Swiss Army Salt & Pepper Canvas/Leather Military Backpack . It measures 1 6" across , 20" tall and approximately 6" deep (front to bac k). The large pocket on the front me asures 10" across, 9 " tall and approximately 3" deep. It has adjustable leather shoulder strap s and both the top and large front p ocket use adjustable leather straps as well. The leather tag on the back reads A.HUG 1959 ST.GALLEN. There is a cloth portion inside with a drawstring closure and the top itself uses a drawstring closure as well. I have found a few light stains on the outside, but the inside is clean and there are no od ors. The light s tains I have found are not bad and I do think it will clean up easily with no problems. There are no tears, holes, rips or split seams. The leather and buckles all looks good with no problems, but it is always a good idea to plan on some leather conditioner to keep it clean and so ft/ pliable . This is a nice pack and it is in great condition.
