DESCRIPTION: This is an old toy hot rod or drag race car that was probably made in the 1960’s. On the bottom, it is marked “Nylint Toys Rockford , Ill Made in U.S.A.” It features wheels that roll. MATERIALS: Steel body with plastic interior and engine intake, and vinyl rubber tires. DIMENSIONS: Measures about 9 inches long. CONDITION: Overall in VERY GOOD CONDITION. It has shiny original paint. There are some scratches and paint chips, and there is surface rust in these spots. The plastic interior needs a cleanup. The rear wheels do not roll very well. I have seen a lot of variations of this car, but I do not remember seeing this one. It may be a hard car to find. FYI: Our pictures are taken under bright incandescent camera lighting or using a flash that sometimes fades out the colors or makes them appear brighter. This also helps to show all distinguishing features and possible flaws on the item. Most of our antiques and collectibles have much darker, deeper, richer colors than appear in some of our photos, especially reds that tend to turn orange in appearance.
