6201 Odana Rd Madison, WI 53719 Phone: Vintage 1960 Wegner Eames Era Wishbone Chair Danish Description: Very nice MID CENTURY Eames Era Wegner wish bone chair in wonderful condition. We have a PAIR of these great chairs. Each is being auctioned off separately. Designed by Hans J Wegner, Danish Craftsman and teacher born in 1914. Named the Wishbone Chair due to the semi -circular back rail, curved hind legs and natural cord caning. Wood looks to be oak. Very comfortable. Not stamped or signed. Our consignor acquired this chair from its original owner in the mid1960s in California. Each chair (t are two) will be sold in a separate auction. Size: 19 1/2" wide by 29" high by 16 1/2" deep. Condition: Very very good. Finish looks to be original. Our consignor did not have them redone. Slight wear to the cord caning. Only one or two individual strands are missing. The rest are sturdy and intact. Chairs are sturdy, particularly at the joints. No breaks or damage to the wood. Slight wear to the finish - a few shallow scratches and t Nothing of any significance.
