This is a vintage late '60s Gibson B-45 12, acoustic 12 string guitar with original case. Guitar is original and in good condition with normal nicks, scratches and lacquer checking but overall attractive. The serial number is 5621XX (see photo) indicating late 60's. It was recently acquired from the original owner who no longer plays. It has a solid spruce top with mahogany back and sides and a rosewood fingerboard and adjustable bridge. Guitar has some old repairs. The top cracked on either side of the fingerboard extending to the sound hole (see photos). These cracks also extended, for a short distance on the side, on either side of the heel (see photos). The previous owner stated that the repair work was performed in the 70's by Pimentel & Sons Guitars, here in Albuquerque. Again, this repair work was done 30-40 years ago and it's an okay job. The repair work is solid and stable but could have been better cosmetically. There are a couple of repaired cracks on the top (see photos, one on the bass side lower bout and one on the treble side lower bout). There are also a couple of glued cracks on the back (see photos). There are no other cracks and no neck or headstock cracks. Repairs are solid and stable. The top is flat and the neck joint is solid.
