Rare genuine Gibson 'Johnny Smith' Bridge Base from 1960's. Rare part! As used on 1960's Gibson Byrdland, Gibson L-5 and Gibson Super 400. Solid Ebony with genuine Mother Of Pearl 'bow tie' inlays either side. I have been able to test this bridge base on a few different guitars and it fits all of these perfectly:1968 Byrdland, 1963 L5-CES, 1964 L5-C. I'm sure it would fit the majority of carved topped Gibson archtop guitars from the 1960's.Fits ABR-1 or solid compensated wood bridge piece. No posts or thumbwheels, but these are easily sourced elsewhere.Any questions please ask.
