VINTAGE 1960s PRINCESS TELEPHONE WITH LIGHT-UP DIAL & ORIGINAL PLUG, JACK AND TRANSFORMER WESTERN ELECTRIC MODEL 702B ROTARY DIAL "The Princess Phone" DESCRIPTION: This is an original American-made Western Electric Model 702B Princess Rotary Dial Desk Telephone FULLY OPERATIONAL in a Pink/Beige color. This model was first introduced in 1959. This phone is marked on the handset "Bell System Property, Not for Sale, Western Electric" and also on the bottom of the phone itself, because in the 1960s, people did not own their phones, they were leased from the telephone company. Eventually, the phone company offered these phones for sale to their customers. The ringer has two volume settings underneath the phone, "loud" and "soft" This auction is for the COMPLETE SET: INCLUDED with the phone is the ORIGINAL Western Electric transformer #2012A which is necessary to provide illumination. Without it, the phone will not light up. (You'll find many of these phones for sale on eBay, but not many have this important part included). ALSO INCLUDED is the ORIGINAL plug and jack so you can wire this phone as it was in 1960 and the best part is, IT WORKS!!!
