This is a 1961 Ponytail Barbie TM case by Mattel. It is as good of one that you will find. This is from the Don Hayward collection. Don bought the best of the best and the rarest of the rare. Dons dolls were exclusively featured in a total of three Barbie calendars by Hallmark Cards Inc which have world headquarters in Kansas City, MO. Also, his dolls were featured in Hallmark greeting cards and other promotional items by Hallmark. Don passed away in 2000. He was the ultimate collector when it came to dolls and dolls were the one thing in this world he was most proud of. This one has the little wire hook on the handles that Don put on this case. He liked to display the cases on the wall of his doll room. I am sure there are others out there who can relate to that. This case needs a new home. Please look at the pictures closely as I am no collector and they are part of the description. Buy a doll or two and I can pack them up with this case to save you money on the shipping.
