A vintage and tall Royal Copenhagen Denmark vase, first quality. Colorful Dandelion flower and butterfly image on thin white porcelain vase. Like new condition with no unusual wear, no crazing, no staining. Signed and marked on bottom with model numbers 1837/232 and with Royal Copenhagen logo and water mark. Circa 1962. The vase stands about 9-1/4" tall. A very collectable piece in super condition! Royal Copenhagen presented its underglaze figurines for the first time at the Paris World's Fair in 1889. The graceful porcelains with their soft, beautiful colors, hand-painted on porcelain under the luminous glaze, aroused a great deal of well-deserved attention. The newly developed underglaze technique became one of the cornerstones of Danish porcelain production. SHIPPING POLICY: Buyer pays shipping. I ship Priority Mail and charge only for the weight of the package plus 1% of the winning bid for packing materials and handling (usually I have to go and purchase a special size box for the item). The cost depends on your zip code. I highly recommend insurance and delivery confirmation. If you chose not to insure I can not accept any returns. Buyer must contact me within 72 hours of the closing of the auction or I reserve the right to re-list the item. If Ebay should experience an outage during the last 2 hours of an auction I reserve the right to relist the item. I do not like it but due to the way people bid with all the last minute bidding I feel that I must protect myself from an Ebay problem. RETURN POLICY: I guarantee my items to be as I describe them. I take great care in trying to give accurate descriptions. If you find I have made a mistake or missed something I will refund the price that was bid. If you have any questions please ask them before bidding not after. If t is a problem of some kind please contact me and let me see what we can work out. PAYMENT: Checks or money orders must be received within 10 days or I have the right to re-list the item. Checks will be held until clear. Paypal and money orders will get shipment within 3 business days. I have good feedback and intend to keep it that way.
