This auction is for an old plywood boat and trailer. I bought it at an auction and the original owner stated that it is a 1964 Kenwil, made in Cedar Springs, Michigan. The "Kenwil Plywood Boats, Cedar Springs, Michigan tag is inside the back of the boat. The trailer is said to be a Tee Nee. The boat needs some work, but is very repairable. As you can see in the pictures, the bottom has some big holes w the plywood has given away. The bottom of the boat is made of 1/4 inch thick plywood and could pretty easily be replaced. The top is also 1/4" plywood. I'm not sure about the thickness of the sides. ( I didn't look at those because they seem in good condition). Most of the supports are still useable and in good condition as is most of the hardwood. One or two cross beams are questionable but t is still plenty t to use as a pattern if you wanted to make new ones. The boat measures about 11'3" long and is about 4'11" at its widest point. Much of the boat looks as though it could be stripped and refinished. This should be an easy wood boat restoration that even a novice could do a good job at. The trailer is in excellent condition and pulls down the road well. Tires are excellent and not weather checked. I did not check to see if the lights work. This is a nice vintage boat and trailer. Payment is due within 7 days of auction close. Payment by Paypal, money order, or cash at pick up. If paying cash, boat and trailer must be picked up within 7 days of auction close.
