VINTAGE SKIPPER DOLL #1105Up for your consideration is this vintage Brunette Twist and Turn Skipper doll with her original swimsuit, stand, and combs/brushes circa 1968.DollHer face paint is bright and the rooted eyelashes are intact. She has no missing plugs, hair is soft, and her scalp is painted brown. She does have a hole in each of her ears.Arms and legs are fairly tight in the sockets and hold a pose. Knees move to all three positions, but only hold first two. Her right foot has a couple of small indentations. Each foot is marked Japan.Her waist twists as it should, but there is a crack in the torso. Her rear is marked:©1967 Mattel, Inc.U.S. Patd.U.S. Pats.PendMade In JapanSwimsuit, Stand, & AccessoriesThe swimsuit is in very good condition with just minor wear and has the Skipper Tag and is the rarer version. The blue headband is original to the doll, but shows some wear with discoloration and frayed ends.The clear "X" stand has a corner missing and is marked 1966 Mattel Inc. Japan. The white comb & brush and black eyelash brush all show just minor wear.
