Up for auction is a very rare vintage can of 3 lipsticks from 1968 by Clairol. These are the California Girl sun punch colors lipstick trio. Can is sealed, never opened and is in excellent condition, no dents, no scratches, no fading to the colors, no discoloration at all. Awesome piece to add to a vintage make up collection! Item has been in my collection for about 15 years, it has been displayed in an air conditioned room. I do not know where it was stored before I purchased it, as it is 45 years old. I do not know about the "condition" of the lipsticks inside. Obviously I have no way of knowing what the lipsticks inside are like, as it is a sealed metal can. This item is being sold as a collectible in that it's value is in the fact that it is sealed and never been opened, as evident in the photos, and is being sold as shown and as described. (If someone should choose to buy it and open it, I am not responsible for the condition of the lipsticks.) However, I would not expect them to be in "usable" condition, as cosmetics, perfumes, lotions, etc tend to "turn" over the years. Please view all photos and ask any questions BEFORE buying.
