Here's something that would make a great addition to any collection of Mattel Hot Wheels memorabilia -- or to any collection of vintage board games. It's the Hot Wheels Wipe-Out Race Game by Mattel. The artwork on the game board is a great reflection of the times in which the game was released (1968) with Peter Max-style artwork. The board is in excellent condition with a small amount of wear along the center crease where the board folds in half. The game is complete with all of the original parts. Probably the most unusual part to this game is the spinner unit, which looks like a giant Hot Wheels tire! The four player controls look like racing car gearshifts. These parts are often missing or broken. All of the other small parts (the discs) are included here. The instructions are printed on the inside of the box lid. The box bottom is in good condition for its age. There's a bit of wear on the box lid, especially along the edges and at the corners. One corner of the box lid is split. This is Mattel Product #5439.
