This is a very nice vintage 1969 Fender Champ Amp. It is all original including: Tolex, grille cloth, logo, knobs, handle, back panels, speaker, power cord, pots, all electrical components, solder joints, transformers, everything. The only possible exception is the light jewel which is blue. This amp is complete and in clean very good+ to excellent condition. It is in great working order. The Tolex is clean and nice with normal light wear and a few small nicks but no major wear or tears. The grill cloth is also clean and nice with light wear but no tears, stains or major discoloration. Control panel is in very good condition with normal wear, small nicks and scratches but overall very nice. All lettering and markings are bold and intact. Handle and hardware are clean and nice. The serial number stamped on the Chassis is A 154XX. Two of the pots are date coded indicating 28th week of 1969 and the other pot is date coded indicating 35th week of 1969. The transformers are date coded 606-9-40 (40th week of '69) and 606-9-44 (44th week of '69). Again, all components and solder joints are original and untouched. The speaker is date coded 465-939 indicating 39th week of '69. The tube line-up is: 6V6GT, 5Y3GT AND 12AX7. The tubes are all vintage RCA and they are probably original. The tube chart is intact. This amp works and sounds great. It's very quite with no unusual hum or noise. Pots are also quite. It has good volume and killer tone. It's clean and bright at lower volume and breaks up nicely at higher volume. With everything turned up all the way I can force a little speaker rattle on open or low bass notes but it's nothing unusual for a small amp of this age and the speaker looks excellent. Again, overall a great sounding amp with excellent tone! Exceptionally nice original vintage 1969 Fender Champ Amp in clean very good+ condition! Great looking, working and sounding amp!!
