Up for Auction with Reasonable Starting Bid, NO RESERVE, and FREE USA SHIPPING: Vintage 1970s Pearl Wood-Fiberglass Drum Set Up for auction is one (1) Vintage 1970s Pearl Wood-Fiberglass Drum Set from the early to mid 1970s in its original Blue Satin wrap (a solid blue). The wrap is in good shape with minimal fading and normal scuffs and scratches for its age. Drum sizes are (depth x diameter): 14x22 bass drum, 15x16 floor tom, 9x13 tom, and 8x12 tom. The drums have been refurbished with the fiberglass lined interiors repainted white. Overall the drums are in good condition. The batter heads on the toms and the resonant head on the bass drum are all OEM clear/black dot "Pearl" heads made by Remo. The resonant heads on the toms have been "cut out" so the toms have that "single-headed" sound. Although in the pictures the batter-side BD hoop has a white inlay, a matching blue satin inlay hoop has been located and installed. The drum hardware is in fair-to-good condition with issues consistent with the set's age. The internal tone controls on the toms are fully functional and are original equipment or at least period correct. The original "hex" style tom mounting system has been replaced with late 70s mounting brackets and early 80s 7/8" tom arms. The spurs are original 70s Pearl, as are the "T-handles" and BD read more
