Vintage 1970's Ray-Ban Ambermatic Sunglasses w/ Case This is a pair of one-owner, unisex style, authentic Bausch and Lomb, 58 mm Ambermatic sunglasses in the aviator design, dating from the early 1970's. The frame is gold-plated metal and the glass lenses change from amber to brown in direct sunlight. The top of the nose bridge is stamped "B&L Ray-Ban U.S.A.", and the bottom of the nose bridge is stamped "B&L Ray-Ban 58-14 U.S.A." The original case, which is taupe colored with a leather-like surface, is marked "Ray-Ban Ambermatic All-Weather Sun Glasses", with a silver snap which is still functional. The glasses belong to a friend of mine who is the original owner and remembers purchasing them in the early 1970's. They are in terrific condition, lenses are excellent with no scratches. A great pair of vintage sunglasses for the Ray-Ban collector -- unisex style, can be worn by men or women. (VERY IMPORTANT: Please see "Condition", below, and be sure to view the pictures.) CONDITION : As noted above. The case has light wear on the outside, and the plastic framework inside has a few chips and cracks. Felt lining inside has some faint wear. TERMS : We accept PayPal payments, which are appreciated within four days. If purchasing multiple items, please wait for your combined invoice so that we can save you some shipping costs.
