This is a lovely collectible Homepride Fred glass worktopsaver from the 1970s. It was produced asa promotional item for Spillers following the launch of Fred in the mid-Sixties. The upper surface of the glass is textured. The reverse is smooth and the pattern is printed on the underside. There is a plastic surface protector at each corner. The board is 16" x 12" (45 x 35 mm) and weighs 1.225 kg. It is in very good vintage condition. There are no chips or cracks. There is some minor loss of pattern through scratches to the underside, all commensurate with the item's age and use. Please refer to the photographs. I am happy to answer any questions on this item.
