Up for auction is a vintage ladiesâe(tm)1971 Schwinn Breeze bicycle in good condition, serial number MG J98665. The year of this bike was confirmed by the Schwinn Company, when I contacted them and gave them the serial number. I am the original owner of this bike, and have used it very little. Buying this bike was one of my good intentions (exercise) gone astray. Itâe(tm)s been stored in a clean, fresh-smelling basement for many years. No one else ever rode the bike. I later decided to ride the bike but due to a knee injury, I am unable to do so. Now itâe(tm)s time to clean up house and sell or donate those items I donâe(tm)t use. I am quite positive that this bike has no more than 50 miles on it, and probably less. The bike has all its original parts. It has a Sturmey Archer England 3-speed shifter, a Schwinn seat, and Schwinn tires. The paint on the bike is green and is in very good condition, except for a couple of very small scrapes. The seat is in very good condition, having only a small scrape, but no tears, on the lower front of the seat, as shown in the picture. All the decals are in very good condition. The chrome and some metal parts do show some wear; they have small brown specks of rust. T are two tiny dings on the chrome in the rear of the bike above the tire.
