WHAT YOU ARE BIDDING ON : Hello! This is Mattel Vintage 1970's "BU SY BARBIE" with Holdin' Hands She has opposable thumbs so the hands can grip She is marked "(c)1966 Mattel Inc., U.S. & Foreign, Patented, Other Pat' s , Pend ing, Made in Hong Kong " She is wearing her original Leotard Blouse, Calico Skirt, and a pair of low-heel red Shoes (marked Hong Kong) She also include s a small plastic television accessory CONDITION NOTES: HEAD: pretty face...very minor paint rubs to eyebrows ...her hair is shiny, silky, thick and original choppy/uneven/tapered length BODY: Disclaimer: These dolls are notorious for weak limbs...I have reinforced the leg pegs...they have not been glued....I use a chemical that re-fuses the plastic together...this repair is pretty strong, but caution should still be taken in handing the doll as Mattel's design was very poo r.... The arms have been reattached with vinyl screws (I have repaired dozens of these successfully this way and am very confident in the strength of this repair) There is some very faint discoloration on her arms....there is a faint gray spot on the back of one hip....both arms still bend and hold at the elbow.... one hand's thumb doesn't close tightly enough to hold the accessory piece ....the legs are rather clean...both knees The outfit is rather crisp and bright...it does have
