UP FOR AUCTION IS A NICE VINTAGE 1973 T- 1 GILLETTE SUPER ADJUSTABLE "BLACK BEAUTY" SAFETY RAZOR As I see it, Date Code : T 1 - First Quarter of 1973 . A nice clean and shiny Gillette Super Adjustable. Comes with a new box of Personna Red Blades for your shaving pleasure ~ right out of the shipping box ! This is the longer handle Super Adjustable. The handle length is approximately 4 inches long. The razor has nice dark colored number settings and each setting adjust as it should. Case in point, look at the even gap on adjustment setting #9 in photo #4.Also, the razor still has it's approximate 1/4 extra turn to lock down the blade securely as it should. Anyone experienced with a Gillette Adjustable can appreciate how nice this is - the TTO is not prone to be accidentally turned by your fingers while shaving and loosen the blade. The razor is in better than average user condition to be 38 years old !The only flaws that I saw worth mentioning seemed minor, but should be pointed out. To be sure, it has some mild user scratches on its shiny butterfly doors. Also, a very small ding on the very bottom of it's TTO knob but seems hardly visible at actual size. .It has a nice dark handle and I did not notice any brassing on its metal !Please look at all the photos and make your own call.Were you born in 1973 ?A lot of collectors like
