Vintage SCHWINN STINGRAY WHEEL SET Up for auction is a 1973 Schwinn Stingray wheel set. They are preowned. What you see in the photos is what you will get!!! These came off of a '73 Stingray & do show wear & tear from riding & age. Rims have normal scuffing marks. Front rim has small pin prick size dent (located under the letter T in tubular rim...please see last picture # 11). Other than that both rims are good. Front tire/rim: Tire has cracking & is printed Schwinn Westwind made in u.s.a 20 x 1 3/4 to fit S-7 Schwinn Tubular Rim. (pictures 8-10)Rim is stamped Schwinn Tubular S-7 Back tire/rim: Tire has cracking & is printed Schwinn Sting-Ray Gripper Slik made in u.s.a 20 x 1 3/4 to fit S-7 Schwinn Tubular Rim. (pictures 4-7) Coaster Break Shimano Japan Some quick info about Schwinn Stingrays with Shimano Coaster Break Classic Schwinn String-Ray, Electro forged style cantilever frame complete with Schwinn Springer fork. Spring suspension seat strut and Schwinn metallic vinyl covered banana seat with rally racing stripe. Chrome plated scoop style fenders, Sting-Ray "Ape-Hanger" bars and Shimano coaster brake.
