This is a NO RESERVE auction for an excellent condition circa 1974-1977 Silverface Fender Twin Reverb amp.Serial # A978777. The serial # suggest it is a 74 but the fact that it is 135 watts would indicate 1977 or later. These usaully are very beat up but this one survived the years very well. It has tremendous volume and that fender tone we all love.I just had this amp completly cleaned and two resistors replaced along with four brand new 6L6 power tubes. It was serviced two weeks ago at Logical Sound in Tucker GA. I will provide a copy of the service order..This is a classic piece of American craftsmanship at its best. This is the real deal. It has the original transformers per the service tech but the speakers have been replaced with some monsterous 12" speakers that the tech said he believed to be made by Gauss and are high end speakers. It also includes a vintage Fender tilt back amp stand. No tears to the grill cloth but there is a slight discoloring. This thing will absolutly crank with 135 watts of vintage tube power. This amp is ultra clean for a 74 so I dont think it seen alot of action. If you notice in the close-ups there is a slight repair on one side of the amp to the tolex but it is barley noticable and very minor pitting to the corners and handle covers. This amp does not come w/ footswitch.I am not trying to make any read more
