Hello, Up for auction is a very rare vintage 1975 Penco E 20NAT semi hollowbody ES-335 style copy guitar. This is a true lawsuit guitar. Made in Japan in the very same factory (Hoshino Gakki) that produced Ibanez. Penco was a label created for the Philadelphia Music Exchange for US east coast distribution. Penco Les Paul copies come up fairly regularly, but the ES-335 copies are rare birds. I got this guitar from my uncle who bought it brand new in 1975 along with a red finished one of the same year, make and model. My uncle only ever played his red guitar as it was his favorite color. I remember he said the natural blond one was "just too damn pretty to play" and that he didn't want to mark it up from playing it, so he never did. He passed away many years ago and I received the blond guitar and my older brother got the red one. The condition is insane! It really looks absolutely brand new in person. No scratches, dings, dents, marks or anything. It is that clean! This is a very high quality guitar with looks to kill. The top and back are very highly flamed maple. The sides are also maple. Gibson ES-335 are also maple bodies. It also has the wood center block just like a Gibson ES-335 which keeps it from excessive feedback. It has the style and look of a 1960's model(Mickey Mouse ears, multi-ply pickguard, pointers on the volume
