Up for bidding a real beautiful and memorable piece to come out of the classic 1960's television series "Gentle Ben", this is a VINTAGE 1968 "GENTLE BEN" METAL LUNCH BOXL manufactured by all time lunch box manufacturers Aladdin Industries out of Nashville, Tennessee USA. This lunch box was a big hit with children upon it's release in 1968 as the Gentle Ben TV series captured their minds and imaginations through a young boy named Mark Wedloe, his family and an unforgettable and highly lovable giant black bear by the name of BEN. Aladdin Industries captured every thing we loved about Gentle Ben so gorgeously on this timeless lunch box in only a way they could. This box is so very ideal for all fans and collector's of the Gentle Ben TV series, classic TV items, and vintage metal lunch boxes alike and it will make a great piece for display. This classic lunch box has normal edge wear, some lighter surface wear, and some rust in areas. The illustrations are very full, complete and have kept a very nice original bold and vivid color. The original handle is bright yellow and very nice, handle brackets and lid latch are all complete and in perfect working order.
