Measuring about 42" x 29", this is US Defense Mapping Agency Hydrographic Center Nautical Chart No. 36080, titled "Irish Sea - Clogher Head to Burrow Head." Sure enough, the Irish Sea is right and center, with the coast of Northern Ireland and the Irish Republic on the left, from about Belfast to Drogheda. The Isle of Man is right center, and the southwest tip of Scotland upper right. It is dated 1976 and stated to be the 4th Edition. The scale is 1:200,000. It is in generally very good and usable condition, with some light surface and edge wear and creasing, and maybe a mis-fold or two, and it may also have some ink and/or crayon inscriptions on the back, some of which may have bled through, and perhaps also some notations or corrections on the map itself. This came from the collection of an Esso tanker captain, who had the habit of writing at least the chart title and/or number in bold lettering on the back, sometimes also with other notes or reference numbers. It has been stored folded, but will probably be shipped rolled in a tube. International Buyers – Please Note: Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost.
