Up for auction today I have this vintage dated 1979 Fitz and Floyd Porcelain Cookie Jar. I purchased at a local upscale estate sale. The cookie jar measures 10 inches in height with lid and approximately 7 inches in length. Perfect gift for Father's Day! This is a sweet little boy dressed in his blue cap and shorts with his pale yellow shirt. He has his sling shot in his back pocket. He is running away from home carrying his blue kerchief on a pole with his possessions and of course he has his best friend with him-his dog. The boy looks a little sad with a tear running down his face-dog looks a little melancholy too. They need a home!!!! This vintage cookie jar is nice and clean inside and out. I see no chips, cracks or repairs. Excellent condition with some minor wear around the bottom edge which is not seen and a couple of glaze pops which were acquired during the manufacturing.
