This listing is for Lot 3 of 11 lots of chisels & gouges I am listing. These lots vary in size from a single chisel up to 15 per listing. These are all pretty much in "as found" condition. Some need cleaning, some have surface rust and some have mild pitting at spots. These all have normal wear, scratches and dings associated with use. Some have handles, some do not as seen in photos. Chisels that have handles may or may not be original, I'm not an expert so you decide. I have tried to note any excessive pitting or damage when listing description of chisel. These items are sold without reserve and "as is". When possible I will combine multiple purchases to save on shipping or use flat rate boxes. This lot is for (1) 2" wide chisel as listed below:1. 2" wide, 16 ¼" O.A.L., 11 ½" blade length, marked The James Swan Co. - Seymour, Conn. USA. This is a very nice chisel, handle is in very good condition, has green paint on upper part of blade which I believe is original, blade is in very nice condition, but does have some pitting on top side of blade. *** BUYER INFORMATION ***On items I sell I try to provide as much descriptive and photographic information on condition, size, known damage and what it is you are buying as my space and knowledge will allow. I try to provide accurate information as possible and will try to answer additional questions when asked, if possible. I have no desire to deceive my buyers, but I do sell my items "as is" unless specified otherwise in my listing. I want your business, but if you are not a serious bidder or have no valid U.S. address, please do not bid. International bidders are blocked as I do not ship out of the U.S. as a rule. Please do not ask for exceptions ( see additional info on this under shipping section) *** SHIPPING ***Shipping rates listed apply to the continental United States, shipping to AK and HI may result in higher costs. Contact me prior if this is the case. Depending on method of payment, most of my items are shipped within 1 day, not counting weekends, holidays or unforeseen problems ( see payment method info at bottom of this section). Some items require special packing or construction of a wood crate to protect your item and these will take longer for the shipping process. I can not control the length of time your item is spent in shipping, this is in the hands of the delivery service. West coast delivery and delivery during holiday times take longer and if speed is important you may request priority delivery on some items. Cost will be greater and this should be requested prior to packaging. I do not pad my shipping costs. I try to figure the shipping weight and cost of your item as close as possible, add costs of packing materials and conformation, this cost is your shipping cost. Handling costs are usually only added on items that require crating or special packaging and this is usually noted in listing. If a shipping cost appears high, it is usually because of weight or package dimensions, not because I am trying to make my money on a ridiculous shipping cost as some sellers do. When your item is shipped, you are provided with a conformation or tracking number to show you that your item was shipped in a timely manner and to let you monitor its progress. I ship only to confirmed U.S. addresses, no box numbers accepted for UPS shipping. NO SHIPPING OUT OF U.S.A. Nothing personal for buyers outside of the U.S., but due to several bad experiences shipping out of country, I have blocked bids from buyers with addresses not in the U.S. except for a few noted listings. If you are from another country and have an address in the U.S. I can ship your item to, you may contact me to have your block removed. To save buyer on shipping costs, I will usually offer shipping via Media Mail when it applies, but this is usually slower and if time is a factor you may wish to select a different method. When an item fits within a flat rate U.S.P.S. box and it saves money, I often offer this method of shipping. I will also offer standar...
