Up for auction is this vintage 2 piece Girl Scout uniform probably dating from the late 50's (could be 60's) The skirt is a fairly straight style with side zipper. Very good condition with a couple of spots on it. No tears or rips. The shirt is a front button with all original buttons intact. Has a little detachable belt in back with two original buttons. Has a patch on one sleeve that reads "Girl Scouts USA". On the front pocket is another round patch with Girl Scouts insignia. Has a neat ribbon and medal "Marian Award" that reads on back "Spiritual Merit Award for Outstanding Achievement". On top is a round blue enamel and gold pin with a stary on each side. Underneath it a green star with Girl Scout logo and the number 5 on the side. Also included are a red, green and gold "Be Prepared" pin and 6 small bar pins of different colors with no writing on them. I am not familiar with Girl Scout badges or pins so will provide a good picture of these. T is an original label on inside of shirt that reads "Official Girl Scouts" 100% cotton. Looks like this uniform is for an older girl but no size tags are available. The shirt is in excellent condition.
