You are looking at a wonderful pair of vintage Sterling Silver turquoise and onyx bolo ties, stemming from the 1940s - 1960s. They each measure about 17 inches in length to the end of their silver tips. As shown in our photos, one tie displays a Silver road runner on a large arrow head-shaped medallion of black onyx surrounded by a silver-roped bezel. The string of the tie is made of heavy black leather with silver tips. Also as shown, the backside of the medallion displays a maker's mark and is stamped Sterling . As shown in our photos, the other tie has a medallion that displays a silver shield with a turquoise stone. The string of the tie is made of heavy black leather with silver tips. Also as shown, the backside of the medallion displays the notation Bennett Pat. Pend. C 31. Both bolo ties are in excellent condition, with no cracks, dings or repairs.
