Up for auction is a vintage and beautiful 19" Vinyl and Cloth Baby Doll made by Madame Alexander . Her name is "MOMMIES PET." She is made of vinyl (head and limbs) and has a cuddly, stuffed body covered in pink cloth. She is in excellent condition. She is approx. 19th tall (long) and weighs just about 2 pounds. She is not a jointed doll, but her head is able to turn around easily. Her limbs are sewn to her cloth body. This doll was made in 1973. She is marked on the back of her neck: "ALEXANDER 19©73." Her face is in very good condition with slightly rosy cheeks and pretty green pinwheel sleep eyes with thick full eyelashes. She has a sweet, closed little pink mouth. Her rooted hair is super shiny and is a pretty Medium Golden Blonde color. S he comes dressed in her original pink and blue pinafore dress and bonnet. The dress has it's original cloth label and is tagged: "Mommies Pet."Mommies Pet has some of the most beautiful hair I have ever seen. It is luxurious and full of shine. The style is an almost chin length straight bob with long bangs. Her hair is very silky and soft feeling. I see no areas of missing hair. I see no evidence that her hair has ever been tampered with or cut. Her big, green pinwheel sleep eyes are so pretty and expressive looking. They open and close well with no problems. She has all of her brush upper eyelashes. Her light brown eyebrows are nicely painted on and show no fading. She has a sweet little button nose and a sweet little closed pink mouth with no loss of lip color. Her facial complexion is very good - fair but slightly peachy with softly blushed rosy cheeks. I see no flaws on her face -- no marker or pen marks, stains, scuffs, rubs, or scratches.Baby Girl's cloth covered body is very clean with no major flaws noted. I see no rips, tears, holes or stains. She has 2 tiny pinhole-size dots of dark color on her chest and a slight discoloration near where the outline of the speaker box shows through the cloth. Very faint though. She does have a speaker in her body but I cannot get her to make any sounds. Although she is not jointed, she still can move her limbs well, pose, and sit on her own. I see no damage to her limbs - no cracks, stains, marker or pen marks. She does have a few tiny pink dots on her lower legs by her knees. They are quite faint, though. Her fingers and toes are all present with no chew marks or bite marks. Her hands and feet have a lot of detail on them.Mommies Pet is wearing her original outfit. The long sleeved dress consists of a light blue dress with white lace trim. Over the dress is a pastel pink dotted "apron" also with white lace trim. Both dress and apron close in the back with buttons. One button is missing from the apron. The dress is in excellent condition with no flaws noted. The apron is also in excellent condition except for the one missing button. The matching blue bonnet with white lace trim is in the same great condition and loops under the chin with a satin ribbon. The dress is labeled: "Mommies Pet." I have added pretty matching blue booties with satin bows on them.This sweetie has no unpleasant odors. We are a smoke-free, pet-free home. I know whoever takes this Baby Girl home will absolutely fall in love with her sweet looks. For a 43 year-old baby she looks awesome! She would make a great addition to your vintage 70's doll collection or Madame Alexander Baby Doll doll collection. .This auction is for this doll only and her clothing . Any other dolls in the photos are, or will be, listed in other auctions. Any props (doll stands , stuffed animals, chairs, and toys) are not included.
