Recent Estate Acquisition! Ladies 22-karat yellow gold and Genuine Emerald~Seed Pearl Necklace, Earrings and Matching Ring. A Rawalpindi design. East Indian, given to the Bride-to-be, from her mother-inlaw. Rare~One of a Kind! In original velvet box. This suite features 22 carats of genuine emeralds. The emeralds are medium dark bluish green. Most emeralds have tiny identifying characteristics known as "jardin", from the French for garden, as do these emeralds. The emeralds are accented by eighty-five genuine white seed pearls. During the Renaissance, emeralds were exchanged among the artistocracy as symbols~and tests~of friendship; the gemstone would stay intact only if the friendship lasted. The necklace features an eight inch center section attached to a metallic cord. Necklace is adjustable, 30 inches in length. Each drop is hinged so that it lays gracefully when worn. Notice the wonderful detail and beautiful finish on the back, a sure sign of quality craftsmenship. The pierced earrings have working lever style posts and backs. The measure 1 1/4" in length. The ring measures approx. 13.00mm at the top and tapers to 2.50mm at the back. The height of the ring is 10.00mm. The ring is a size 5 1/2. This lush deep green emeralds reflect beautifully in this highly polished 22-karat yellow gold suite. The combined wight of all three pieces is 52 grams. Rich 22-karat gold, is the perfect surrounding for these beautiful gemstones. Unsigned beauties, tested to be 22-karat gold. Great condition, rarely worn. All gemstones intact. Velvet Box Included.
