Vintage 30s 40s DRESS LOT tlc fab details! 16pc Description we have some GREAT vintage 20s 30s & 40s dresses that have been sitting in my fix-it bin for TOO long! They would be great for those of you who like to fix up and restore, re-use, re-make and DIY. Some of them just need cleaning, some need mends some can be used for parts. Many would be great for Theater or photography. They are all really great, and if any of them fit me I would have already fixed them and wore them myself! :) PLEASE DO NOT buy these thinking you can wear them out of the box. It will take time and creativity to do the fix-ups. :) #1 Turquoise / teal floral late 30s cold rayon dress with RED STAR plastic buttons. This one doesn't need much, t is one quarter size hole to mend, and 3 other tiny ones. No label remains. Side snaps. #2 Unique Pale blue open weave rayon 30s dress with bouquets of pink and white flowers. This has a neat cascading ruffle down the entire side. Both armpits need repair (you could make it sleeveless I suppose) t are some tiny holes throughout and a couple of rust colored spots. No label remains. No closures #3 Chartreuse, lime green 40s crepe dress with neat open work neckline. This one just has a tiny hole in the front waist. It really just needs cleaned as it has shoulder dirt and general brown age dirt. Only an order tag remains. side zipper back buttons #4 Interesting Pale nile green pin tucked grid dress with applique circles features metal studs. The sleeves are unique with gathers. This one is from the same estate as the lime green and needs cleaned. They were not stored properly and you know how crepe is. No damage other than that. Label: "A Minx Modes Junior" side metal zipper. #5 Another from the same estate as the last two. It's pretty awesome with rows of pleated lace, ruching at the waist and back buttons. T is lace at the hem too. The color is a pale sage mint green. It needs a cleaning the same as the above 2. It's crepe and the label is: "Caryle Junior Originations" #6 Another from same estate as the last three. REALLY great draping on this sky blue "Original by Elinor Gaye" No damage, but needs cleaned like the others from this estate. has very slight discoloration that is a bit lavender instead of blue. It's not really that noticeable. back metal zipper #7 Navy blue thin rayon crepe dress with flattering ruching and applique flower pockets. Has some stains & the left side has a fade line down the side. Maybe you could spot dye this one? It also needs 3 buttons & cleaned. #8 TOTALLY great deco floral fabric on this one. This one breaks my heart everytime I look at it because I ADORE the fabric. It's hunter green, aqua, chartreuse, orange, red and white tulips & flowers. The armpits are shot and t holes on the left bust that would need patched. Remove the sleeves and patch with the extra fabric? It's super cute. #9 Glam black creep with pleated ruffle edged in lace. It's pretty fab. It has some seam separations under the arms and side that need sewn back up and a teeny hole near the hem, that you could just leave, or darn it up just a bit. It might need dry cleaned after...
