This auction features a nice used Antique COLEMAN Model B radiant parlor/room/area heater. It measures 24 1/2" wide (including legs) and 22 1/2" tall. I am only guessing on the date based on the patent numbers on the fuel tank. May be from the 1920s, 1930s or 1940s. It is all original and complete. Original paint is superb on the top and has surface rust on the rest of the paint. All tiles (ceramic?) are in place and unbroken. Original decal in front is very legible and shows that it is a Model B. Legs, finials, grate and handle are all t and in good original condition. Pictured is the heater with and without the tank so you can see that t is no rust-through. Also shown is all sides to give you an idea of the general condition. T is a small dent on the right leg about 5 3/4" from the ground. No other dents that I could see. I have never fired it up but it appears to be all t An overhaul should be done if you plan on using it. Any seals, gaskets or o-rings should be checked and/or replaced for safety's sake. It did have some old fuel in it which I dumped out, and I saw no particles or foreign matter in the fuel. In photo #9, on the bottom of the heater is a piece of tape which holds a small machine screw that fell off in my last move that may be a gas adjustment screw. This classic heater has been a display item only since I got it over 10 years ago, so I cannot guarantee its functionability but I see no reason why it shouldn't work. This would make a fine addition to your cabin or use it in your home after getting it dialed in. If you have any questions or comments please email me.
