Thank you for stopping by and looking at our auction. My husband and I have decided to retire and downsize. Rather than have the usual yard sales, antique dealers, etc. we are going to have fun and auction all of our excess items on eBay. You are looking at a soldered 4 piece Coffee, Tea service by different silver makers. This set has been packed away for sometime, but I quickly polished it to show it's beauty. It coordinates very nicely and has a wonderful patina that lends itself to the aged elegance I like. Of all the sets I have collected, this one is my favorite The tray is detailed around the edges and has very nice etching. The tray measures 11.5" x 14" . The tray is detailed with etching and fluted border. I quickly cleaned this tray to photograph it. T is the normal scratching and wear due to age and use. I can't tell if t is tiny pit mark or it just needs further cleaning. The coffee pot is 7.5" tall and 8.5" from the tip of the spout to the bend of the handle. The teapot measures 5" tall and 7" from the tip of the spout to the bend of the handle. The coffee pot is stamped Made and guaranteed by Meriden USAmerica and had a trade mark on the bottom. Also stamped on the bottom is the number 25 and 1/2 PT. T is some scratching and one deeper scratch on the inside cover of the coffee pot and on the bottom of the coffee pot. T is a wear mark on one side ( I just turned it the other way) and t is some normal wear inside. The tea pot is stamped on the bottom Silver Soldered SEO 556 A 12oz. Also stamped on the bottom is the number 10. Again the normal wear associated with age and use. The sugar bowl is 3.5" tall with the cover and is 7" from tip to tip on the handles. The sugar bowl is marked on the bottom with 307 Smith Silver Co. Bridgeport Conn. a trademark and Silver Soldered 9oz. The cover of the sugar bowl has a wear mark on the top and one inside the top. The creamer is 2.5" tall and 5" handle to tip of spout. The creamer has no wear marks on the inside and the bottom is stamped 302 Smith Silver Co. Bridgeport Conn. their trade mark Silver Soldered 4oz I thought the pieces of this soldered set complimented each other very nicely, so I am selling them as a set. I would be happy to email further photos if necessary and to answer any questions. I have attempted to describe this set as much as possible. I will be putting other eclectic sets for sale on eBay, so please check out my other items for sale. All items are sold in AS IS condition. If you are not satisfied with any item you purchase, notify me within three days of receipt and if you return it in the condition I sent it I will refund your purchase price. I cannot refund any shipping costs or be responsible for damage in shipment. Insurance is required. I have based the shipping costs on the eBay shipping calculator and that is the shipping cost charged. Like you, I can't stand it when someone tries to increase the shipping cost after the purchase.
