This appears to be old (1940's) cigarette caddy with ashtray and match holder. It is heavy ornately carved(?) or cast pewter or possibly silver. The lid on the cigarette case has a carved sailing vessel that is polished gold color that sits higher than the rest of the lid that is also ornately carved with a floral motif. The ash tray and lid as well as the match holder and the cigarette case lid are removable from the tray to which the cigarette case is attached to. The ash tray lid as well as the bottom of the tray have a hallmark that looks like a sail boat with a "Y" stamped into the sail. The bottom of the tray also has large stamped letters that say "Made in Occupied Japan". The entire set looks unused and is in excellent condition. The picture color is deceiving. Everything is very polished silver in color except for the boat "plaque" on top of the cigarette box which is very shiny gold. Overall dimensions are 9"X3.5"X1.75"h
