Vintage 40s US Navy Silverware Flatware USN Reed Barton Up for bid is this lot of vintage silverware probably stainless steel. Featuring engraved on the handles "U.S.N." for the United States Navy. Lot consists of the following items: 7 knives 8 ½ inches 4 forks 7 ¾ inches 2 tablespoons 7 ¼ inches 1 teaspoon 6 inches Although the pattern is identical they are made by various manufactures such as: "Reed Barton", "Ontario Mfg Co", "O.L. Stainless" and "Silco". I do not believe the knife handles are hollow as they are very heavy. I was told they date to World War II 1940s. Condition of all is very good but they will need polishing. Any items paid for between May 1st - May 5th will not ship till May 7th as I will be out of town and away from any and all computers. Often referred to as a VACATION!
