Very Rare 48" Diameter Coca-Cola Button Sign, circa 1950

With Classic Iconic Centered Coca-Cola Bottle Image

The famous Coca-Cola button sign is the iconic image of American advertising. Instantly recognizable the world over from Tibet to Timbuktu, it is a timeless classic. And this large 48” diameter Coca-Cola button sign with the centered Coca-Cola bottle image is the rarest of them all. Fired porcelain enamel over heavy gauge steel, it is a durable work of American art to be handed down from father to son. A unique feature of this sign is that it already has two heavy steel horizontal bars mounted on the back making it ready to hang for permanent display. This is an ideal Christmas or birthday gift for that special man. He will be proud to display this American icon in his bar at home, his billiard room, his den, or his special man cave.

The close-up photo of the outer side edge of the sign shows the top of the metal screw that secures the mounting bar and the resulting circular chip in the porcelain. This circular chip in the porcelain is evidenced on both the right and the left top and bottom mounting bars. However, when the sign is hanging on display and viewed face-on as shown, the imperfections created by the mounting screws cannot be seen.

Please note that in the last photograph in the series the Coca-Cola sign is standing on a black velvet cushion on a black granite floor which gives the impression of distortion in the metal rim on the bottom of the circular sign. Be assured that the bottom edge of the sign is in perfect symmetry.
