"Vintage 4x10 WWII Japanese Field Binoculars & Case" Welcome to Penaroyal Collectibles!!! We have up for auction a very neat pair of vintage 4 x 10 WWII Japanese Field Binoculars & Case. The binoculars have a leather strap attached to them and the only information we can find is on the binoculars. There is an unknown symbol on the viewing side and to the right it has 4 x 10. Along with this little bit of information there are the numbers to adjust the lenses from 60-70 and there is also No. 99016. The binoculars are black with some hints of what looks like brass in a few places where the black has worn off. The case is made of what looks like a cloth cover holder. It also has what looks like a canvas strap. Size: The binoculars measure approximately 3 ¾” high x 4 ¾” wide and the case is slightly larger. Condition: In our opinion the binoculars are in good condition for their age and usage. They show some wear to the paint, strap has a slight scent from being stored over the years, there is minor surface tarnish, I cannot see any numbers on the inside of the lens (not sure if they are not there or if I am holding them wrong) and one lenses has what looks like an imperfection in the glass. The case is also in good condition. It show some wear, strap has a little damage, some soiling, slight odor from also being stored
