This is a lot of over 500 recipes from the Depression through the early 1990s in five boxes. The lot includes handwritten, typed, clipped and printed recipes in all categories, from appetizers to desserts. It includes a complete set of vintage Gold Medal Flour (General Mills) recipe/cooking ("Macaroni as a Food") cards and a Betty Crocker "Inquiry Card." The recipes are in four 3x5 file card boxes - two metal (both from Syndicate Manufacturing) and two oak wood - and a Dayton's Department Store cardboard box. Guaranteed hours of exploration and entertainment here - and quite possibly a few new ideas to try in the kitchen (Soda Cracker Pie, anyone?). Total weight is almost 7 pounds.
