Hi, just in time for Christmas is this wonderful vintage '50s Christmas tinsel tree! Also included is the vintage color light wheel needed to make the tree a beautiful constantly transforming multi-color. I tested the wheel and it is working fine. Not too easy to capture the subtly changing colors of red, green, blue, and yellow, but I tried. The wheel tilts as it spins. Not sure if that's intentional but the result is that the whole tree gets lighted! Even the original box is included, with great '50s graphics and lettering. This tree was very well cared for over the years. It is in very nice condition, with only slight wear, creases, and age spots. Still looks great. Tree measures 4 and 1/2 feet tall. The stand forms around the base. Very easy to assemble: Just stick the branch rods in the wooden holes of the center pole. T are about 60 branches. About a dozen of them have a small section without tinsel. The bare parts are all in the same spot so they may have been factory made that way. Anyway, as you can hopefully see from the photos, the bare parts aren't noticable at all. A very beautiful tree. I didn't realize how beautiful and sparkling these look until I saw one in person for the first time. Maybe Lucy was right, maybe Charlie Brown should have bought an aluminum tree!
