This is a good find for anyone interested in vintage popcorn poppers. This is a Dominion Popper Chef popcorn popper and utility cooker model 1702. Imagine from the days when folks could use the popcorn popper to heat up soup and make stews. The recipe booklet included not only explains how to make the best popcorn but also the soups, stews, hot cereal and candies, etc. This unit comes in the original box with 4 plastic serving bowls in original wrapping, recipe booklet and guarantee brochure. The electric cord is still wound and tied. I plugged it in and it heats up just fine. Everything is in mint unused condition. Manufactured by The Dominion Electric Corporation of Mansfield, Ohio. I do not find any dating but since t is no zip code in the address, I presume it is from the 1950's or maybe earlier. The popper stands 9" tall including the lid. They just don't come any better than this. A beautiful example. Total weight with packing is 5 lbs. Buyer pays shipping from zip 14843. No packing or handling charges.
