General Electric put the most awesome brown-black marbled bakelite up the sides of this mid-century beauty! You can adjust the 139T81 from dark to light and from "pops up" to "stays warm." This model has three wavy lines on the sides above the bakelite. The toaster measures about 7 1/2" from countertop to the top of the toaster x approximately 9 1/2" x 6 1/2". (Looks like the 129T81 and the 169T81!) A real retro gem! T is a tiny chip out of the side of the dark-light knob, but this isn't noticeable and doesn't affect its use. When we plugged this toaster in to test it, it did not work. But when we turned the plug over, it worked just fine! Minimal scratches and excellent electrical cord. We wash/clean each of our items and examine them carefully to be able to describe them as accurately as possible. We then pack purchases in bubblewrap and peanuts for safe shipping. Please do NOT send payment until AFTER we've sent you the shipping information via e-mail OR eBay invoice.
